Great little place! Lovely patio to sit on in the summer, cozy but open atmosphere. The people who run it are always so sweet and the food is amazing. The blueberry cheese bake is to die for and the roast turkey sandwich is delicious! One of my favorite spots!

A gem in Pictou. Food and service were great! I had the salmon burger and my husband had the turkey and bacon triple decker. The portion and cook on the salmon were perfect.

Stopped in for lunch & had the best chicken grilled cheese sandwich with cranberries & brie a Reuben sandwich with Mediterranean soup & Raspberry coconut cake to top it off ❤ definately stopping again the next time we're in Pictou!

A wonderful little cafe with good coffee, good food, and good service

Fantastic food! Had the Stone Soup baked brie with it's fresh blueberry compote and homemade taco chips - Amazing!! Both the lobster chowder and seafood chowders were rich and creamy. Love that everything is locally sourced! Can't wait to stop by again when in the area!

Quaint little place. The food is good. They have a different selection from other places in the area, such as, a taco salad which I had that was good.

Abysmal service. Curt wait staff, left with a thimbleful of water for over 45 minutes or so with no attention from our server. Finally, when the food arrived I was pleasantly suprised. Great food but I found the service desperately wanting. Would give this place another chance.

This little cafe was my favorite eating experience on this holiday..Dad and I ate there tonight. I had a club sandwich and it was the best club sandwich that I have ever eaten. Dad had the apple and brie stuffed chicken breast with vegetables. He loved it.

My partner and I had a really nice lunch at the Stone Soup Cafe. The menu is quite eclectic, including a tasty falafel, and they can cater to most dietary preferences. The restaurant and patio both overlook the harbourfront.

This was a great experience for Valentine's Day. Food was excellent, atmosphere was excellent and of course our host (Barry?) was amazing... highly recommend and we are going again for the international evening in March. 5 Stars

Everything on the menu is delicious. The wild mushroom soup is incredible. The staff is wonderful and friendly and the baked goods are always excellent!

Cozy little place with great food.

The BEST fish and chips I've ever had!! You dont need a tartar sauce to enjoy it. The fish was thick and juicy like a chicken, and very crispy outside. So perfect! The chowder was thick and nice too

Best restaurant in Pictou! Order the roasted veggies grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries. Oh, my. A contender for the best meal I had in NS. Sit out on the back porch for a little view of the water. Friendly service. Wish I could go back and order the same again!!! We stopped here on our way to the ferry in Caibou, going to PEI.

I would drive out of my way to go here. Small family place. Food was awesome. The corn chowder - a not-to-be-missed item on the menu

Delicious little restaurant for breakfast. All home made food. Farm fresh products not from the store is what I mean! Ham, eggs, sausage and bread all hand produced by artisans and at a good price.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We first tried it on our way through Pictou and ended up choosing them to cater our wedding. Camille was incredibly helpful, kind, and thorough throughout the process. On the wedding day her staff were prompt and so kind to all of the guests. They were so helpful and assertive where needed! They even cut the cake for us when we had originally had planned to do so. Overall the experience was incredible, not to mention how affordable it all was. If you're looking for a family feel, home cooked experience, this is the place to go!

Delicious food! Had the lobster sandwich and fries and the food was really great! Also purchased one of the art pieces they had on display at the time. Staff are friendly, the restaurant is small and cozy and most importantly, the food is amazing! Really a must stop. P.S they had fresh baked goods (cookies) when I went, go for it, it was homemade!

Excellent food. Always enjoy the food here. Prices are up there but the food is worth it. I had a seafood chowder with lobster and the size of the pieces were huge. Very delicious. They have an selection of food. We were a party of 11 and there were not complaints. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended if you are wanting an elevated food experience.

Delicious lobster omelette at reasonable price! The waitress was also really nice. We had a big breakfast here after leaving Caribou Provincial Park campground on our way to Antigonish and really enjoyed this little cafe with great food, nice views, and welcoming people.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, being fairly new to town. The first visit be excellent. The guys was great very friendly and enjoyable to converse with. This time Barry was taking care of us, well not sure that taking care of us is the right term. He was not friendly and very rude. He even said to us if you do NOT want more coffee we have people waiting for a table. More less telling us to give up our table.. Working in the restaurant business myself, I know this not how you talk or treat customers. He may have may a bit more money today by us leaving but lost money in the future.
